Imagine that you have just ended a conversation on Facebook with a friend and you want to retrieve some information from it, but unfortunately, you haven't saved the conversation. In this situation, there is no way to recover the conversation. At least on paper, because by using the right software, you will be able to view chat conversations easily, as they are stored in the web browser's cache.

A program which can decrypt the cache and display conversations is myWebChat. This Windows application is actually a browser extension, allowing you to view past conversations from the most popular web services, like Gmail Chat, Facebook Chat, Google Plus chat and so on. After the program is installed, the user will first need to create a new account on the producer's website and install the extension into the browser.

Unfortunately, only Internet Explorer is supported for installing the program's extension. After creating the account and integrating to the browser, myWebChat starts monitoring chat sessions and displays them in real time in the producer's website, in the user's account, which was created earlier. Besides displaying real-time chat log, myWebChat can also decode chat files, by importing them directly.

Pros

It allows you to view real-time information regarding conversations from the most popular web services, like Facebook or Google Plus. Besides that, it allows you to import and decode chat files.

Cons

You have to create an online account before using myWebChat. Fortunately, signing up does not take long. myWebChat allows you to easily monitor and view chat sessions in real-time, from the most popular web services, like Facebook and Google Plus.
